LearnCAx Mentor Program : How it Works ?
LearnCAx mentor program connects Students, Mentors, and Industrial/University Projects together. Through this unique program, we give an opportunity for students to work on challenging projects offered by industry or assigned by your university. LearnCAx offers many learning options to acquire necessary knowledge to execute the project. LearnCAx also have a pool of mentors who has expertise in wide range of industrial sectors.
LearnCAx mentor program has two variants based on the project selected by student:
- When students have their own project idea or project idea assigned by their guide
- When student select one of the industrial project offered by LearnCAx
Student Selects Industrial Project offered by LearnCAx
Through LearnCAx-Industry collaboration, LearnCAx receives range of project from industries. After rounds of discussion between LearnCAx team and team from company, various project ideas are extracted. Through LearnCAx mentor program, these projects ideas are then offered to students as their academic project. The main idea behind LearnCAx-Industry collaboration is to offer challenging projects to students and give them exposure to solve industrial problem. Through such kind of projects, industries get a solution to their problems as well as a trained engineer who might be their future employee.
Following is the way LearnCAx mentor program works for any industrial projects:

STEP 1: Industry approaches LearnCAx for their project work LearnCAx has a brand name in CAx education. Many industries are aware of the training provided by LearnCAx and skill sets of students doing course at LearnCAx. Every industry has various problems which could be solved with help of CFD simulations. Industry approaches LearnCAx to offer those projects to students. |

STEP 2: Formulation of CFD project Sometimes the problems are large or very complex for student’s academic project. Sometimes the problems are not formulated as CFD problem. Through rounds of discussion between LearnCAx and industry team, those problems are converted into CFD project. Each project is then evaluated for its difficulty level, required knowledge and software skill sets required for student to work on those projects. |
