LearnCAx becomes first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform for CFD learning
Pune India, April 23, 2015 — Centre for Computational Technologies – CCTech today announced joining of massive open online course (MOOC) movement by making LearnCAx (www.learncax.com) platform FREE for CFD learning. Now any individual can access LearnCAx premium CFD courses on ANSYS, CD-adapco and Autodesk software for FREE.
“LearnCAx has been started with the vision of Inspire, Educate and Mentor engineers globally” said CCTech CEO Sandip Jadhav. "LearnCAx becoming MOOC would provide broader access to professional CFD education and achieving our vision to educate engineers across the globe. We believe now it would be possible for the LearnCAx to provide CFD courses on a vast scale and open higher education to hundreds of thousands more students than was previously possible.”

There is big void when students wants to get mentored for the project. Today there are millions of CFD references on the web. There is a need of structured online learning platform. LearnCAx plans to build the CFD mentoring platform which helps students to transit from academics to profession with thermal and fluid CFD expertise. Mentoring platform would help students to choose appropriate CFD project, find correct reference, define the physics, solve using correct simulation tools and interpret final results for achieving design goals.”
LearnCAx already being used by students and professional from around 120 countries. It has 6000 active subscriber learning from 18 different courses. Supporting so many students is always a big challenge. Therefore LearnCAx support is now moving from one to one support model to community based support model. LearnCAx has newly developed LearnCAx support forum which would be fully supported by LearnCAx team. This would also help students and working professional to solve their problems directly. We hope it would help other subscriber to enrich their knowledge through discussion forum.
